Casio PCR-T285 / PCR-T295 / SE-S100 set codes explained

The "advanced features" settings from the registers' user manuals, in one table. PV ECR Tool sets the common ones from checkboxes; this page is for understanding what they do, and for anyone programming at the keyboard.

What a set code is

These registers keep their general settings as numbered groups. Each group has a four-digit set code ending in 22 (0522, 0622 …) and holds six digits, written D6 D5 D4 D3 D2 D1 from left to right. Each digit is one or more yes/no options added together, so a digit of 3 might mean "option A (1) plus option B (2)". A program file from an SD card carries all of them at once; at the keyboard you set one group at a time.

Entering one at the keyboard

  1. Mode switch to PGM. Press 3, then SUBTOTAL.
  2. Type the set code (for example 0622) and press SUBTOTAL.
  3. Type the six digits (for example 000002) and press CASH.
  4. Press SUBTOTAL to finish.

Typing a whole group overwrites all six digits, so look up every digit before you start, not just the one you want to change. The register can print its current settings: PGM mode, SUBTOTAL (the "program read" report lists set code and set data).
